The label holds an electronic circuit with NFC technology intelligible to any smartphone of recent making on which the AiGrading app is installed, being Google Android or Apple iOS.
The AiGrading app is designed to read the smart label and decode in real time the content of the certificate of gradation, displaying on screen the whole set of parameters taken into consideration by our evaluation team, in order to provide complete transparency to the final grade reported on the label.
AiGrading Smart Label is the ultimate highly destructible tamper-proof label. The smart label is designed to endure any attempt at tampering: removing the label from the AiGrading case will cause the invalidation of the circuit and will compromise the integrity of the support, making the attempt at tampering obvious and the digital certificate invalid. AiGrading’s blockchain is an extended network of servers, called nodes, that safely manages a complete register of data and information. All nodes host and protect a virtually infinite chain of data blocks that are immutable by definition.

AiGrading makes use of blockchain nodes to register each certificate of gradation in a single block, safe and immutable. Each certificate is saved in a block that is not just immutable, but also smart, the AiGrading smart contract keeping all data written on the smart label applied on the products cases, from the serial number of the electronic circuit visible on the back of the label to all grading data.
The technological foundation of the blockchain makes the evaluation issued by AiGrading extremely safe and immutable. The modification of a single data in blockchain is, simply put, not possible: every time a new block of the chain is created, or more properly mined, any further modification of the certificate or substitution of the block with another certificate is prevented by the blockchain core algorithms. The blockchain is a further step that AiGrading takes in its anti-fraud strategy, aimed at efficiently safeguarding the value of all collectible items that the customer entrusts us with.
